Mercury Prize 2026: The full shortlist revealedThe Mercury Prize 2026 have confirmed Paul McCartney, Florence and the Machine, Olivia Dean, and Dove Ellis will be among those battling it out in Newcastle for the prestigious industry prize. The newly announced list of 12 nominees consists of Dave, Dove Ellis, Florence and The Machine, JADE, Knats, Kojey Radical, Nia Archives, Olivia Dean, Paul McCartney, Raye, Suede, and War Child Records. Elsewhere, Raye and Olivia Dean are in for a run with their solo female albums, which performed tremendously well in the UK charts; earlier this year, Dean took home four Brit Awards for the effort. This year’s list includes Kojey Radical’s second Mercury shortlist appearance with Don’t Look Down, and Suede’s third appearance, after winning for their self-titled debut in 1993.
