Fans have known for some time that Soundgarden has one last album up their sleeve with the late frontman Chris Cornell, who tragically took his own life in 2017. Now, drummer Matt Cameron has confirmed that the final project is in its final stages. Though no release date has been confirmed, Cameron added that the band is “just taking it one step at a time ’cause it’s been kind of a long process just to get to here.” Now, the drummer has confirmed that the album will consist of eight never-heard-before tracks, adding, “I think that that’s pretty much all there is with vocals.”
