In the original movie, Silverstone starred as Cher Horowitz, a sassy fashionista at the heart of the modern retelling of Jane Austen’s Emma. As per The Hollywood Reporter, Gossip Girl co-creators Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage will write the series. Jane Wiseman, Paramount+’s head of originals, has celebrated the exciting update with an official statement, sharing, “Clueless is coming home. Previously, Peacock had been developing another Clueless spin-off, in the form of a mystery series involving the disappearance of the main character.
