Google Earth has added new AI tools directly into its web platform, allowing people to generate custom imagery on top of real satellite photos. Anyone using the browser version of Google Earth can just pick a place on the map, click a button to start creating an image, and enter a detailed prompt. Entering a prompt about the ancient ruins of Pompeii can transform modern stone remains into a colourful, bustling street scene from 78 A.D. Google mentions real estate development and home design to imagine future renders. The update is available globally starting today for everyone using Google Earth on the web.
