Athens - Linda Chloe Norwood Wade, 83, passed away peacefully on July 12, 2026, at her home in Canton, Texas. She was born on June 29, 1943, in Corsicana, Texas, to Colena Copeland Norwood and Miller Jeff Norwood. A graduate of Corsicana High School and Navarro College, she married the love of her life, Wilson Wade, on March 6, 1965. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Wilson Wade; her parents; her stepfather, Jay Payne; and her brother, Larry Norwood. A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, September 19, at 11:00 a.m. at the Bowie Community Center West Hall in Bowie, Texas.
