Councilors passed a resolution to close all streets around the Plaza between Memorial Day and Nov. 1. SANTA FE, N.M. — City councilors passed a resolution Wednesday night that could shape the future of traffic near the Santa Fe Plaza. Councilors passed a resolution to close all streets around the plaza between Memorial Day and Nov. 1. The resolution doesn’t include an amendment that would have kept one lane of San Francisco Street open to traffic year-round for first responders. The council will have to introduce new legislation in the future if it wants to keep going.
