The donation cheque was handed over to Manashree’s father in the presence of Agriculture & Farmers’ Welfare and Power Minister Ratan Lal Nath during a programme held on Thursday. Speaking on the occasion, Minister Nath praised the members and officers of the Agriculture Department for responding positively to his appeal to extend support to the family. He appealed to citizens, organisations and institutions across the state to extend financial support so that the child can receive timely treatment. Chief Minister Prof. Dr. Manik Saha, former Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb, along with numerous organisations, institutions and well-wishers, have already made contributions. Together, we can help secure Manashree’s treatment and give her a chance at a healthier future,” he said.
