MARSHFIELD, WI (OnFocus) – The Marshfield Common Council approved additional funding Tuesday for a larger garage included in the city’s Police Department relocation project. The expanded garage increases the overall project cost to approximately $12.2 million, according to city officials. Finance Director Jennifer Selenske told council members the garage addition created a funding gap of roughly $422,000 after accounting for available financing. Council members approved the additional expense, allowing the project to move forward as planned. The police department relocation project has been under development as part of the city’s long-term capital improvement program.
