Daniel Watling, 35, of Lon Las, Llanrhyddlad, is charged with both intentional strangulation and assault by beating. The incident in question took place on Saturday, July 18. Watling was remanded into custody, and is to appear before Caernarfon Magistrates Court on Thursday (July 30).
