An Elgin care worker who repeatedly sexually assaulted and harassed colleagues, sometimes in front of residents, has pleaded guilty to a string of offences. Gary Young sexually assaulted three women - at times in front of residents who were they were supporting - over the course of a year. Young messaged a colleague asking for help, but when the woman attended the resident’s room, Young grabbed her hand and moved it towards his groin. During January 2025, Young sexually assaulted another of his colleagues by slapping her buttocks while she was bending over. In May 2025, Young sexually assaulted a third colleague.
