According to our source Jeannine Rippa, a dispute between two landlords has resulted in a fence installed along the New City Pharmacy and Roccos pizza and Tough Shed side of mall. Hallmark and DeCiccios supermarket and New City Pizza and Palisades Credit Union are in a different fenced in area. This is creating extra traffic on Main Street New City. In a statement from Councilman Jon Valentino, Valentino stated “I have heard the concerns from many residents regarding the fence installed between the DeCicco’s Shopping Plaza in New City and the neighboring property. Any claims or hearsay from political candidates suggesting that the Town Board authorized or approved this fence are simply not factual.
