Donald “Donnie” Allen Mingis Sr., age 92, of Monroe Georgia, went to be with hisLord and Savior on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. Donnie was born on July 27, 1934, to Don and Ethel Lou Mingis in Ozone, Tn. He never met a cat or a dog that hedidn’t love or that didn’t love him. Donnie is predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Barbara “Bobbye” Davis Mingis,his daughter Deborah Mingis, granddaughter Kristin Hurst, brother Jerry Mingis,and parents Don and Ethel Lou Mingis. Donnie is lovingly survived by his son Allen Mingis (Mary Ann) of Alto, Ga,daughter Nancy Hurst (Ricky) of Monroe, Ga; grandchildren: Wesley Hurst (Erin)of Monroe, Ga, Kemmer Tsirigos (Anthony) of Sugar Hill, Ga; and great-grandsonMason Hurst.
