Donald R Dunwoody, age 81 of Fairfield Glade, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 28 at home after a short battle with brain cancer. Don was born in Lancaster, PA on April 3, 1945 to Richard and Betty Dunwoody. Don went on to have a successful 30+ year career in Parks and Recreation with the US Army Corps of Engineers. In addition to his wife, son, and grandchildren, Don is also survived by his two brothers Scott (Kay) and Dwight (Carol), and three nephews and one niece. Funeral services are scheduled for Friday 8/14/2026 11am at Fairfield Glade First Baptist church, Fairfield Glade, TN.
