Reason 'strip pub' near Watford forced to close revealed

The Prince of Wales Rickmansworth in London Road announced this week that it is shutting after 33 years, citing a "change in circumstances".
A 2010 law change saw venues such as The Prince of Wales Rickmansworth require separate licences to those covered under the Licencing Act.
The Prince of Wales Rickmansworth initially closed in mid-May with plans of reopening after a renovation, before then confirming its permanent closure on Tuesday (July 28).
I've been visiting on and off for about 25 years, and I've been watching all the old pub venues close over the last 10.
A previous licencing application was met with criticism back in 2011, with one neighbour describing the pub as “an utter disgrace, a house of ill-repute and degradation”.
