Phish’s road to 100 shows at Madison Square Garden continues. The energy around MSG on a Monday night was electric, an accomplishment few other than Phish can pull off. On this run the band linked each number show, back to the music they pulled from that respective year. They started the set 2 closer with a cover of the iconic “Johnny B Goode” by Chuck Berry, which then went into “Free” off of 1996’s Billy Breathes. This run of shows marks this journalists 13th time seeing Phish, and NYE, will be my 18th show.
