Telangana monsoon revival cuts rainfall deficit to 11 per cent after heavy rainsTelangana’s monsoon revival has significantly improved rainfall conditions, reducing the seasonal deficit to 11 per cent. Heavy rains have benefited Hyderabad and neighbouring districts, with several areas moving into the normal category. The cumulative seasonal rainfall deficit from June 1 to July 30 has drastically narrowed down to a deficit of 11 per cent. The cumulative rainfall deficit in GHMC and surrounding areas of Cyberabad and Medchal-Malkajgiri is now 16 per cent. Thanks to the rains, at present 21 districts in Telangana are in normal category and 12 districts in deficit category.
