Father-in-law held after woman dies in domestic dispute over infant in VirarA 28-year-old woman died after allegedly being pushed by her father-in-law during a dispute over her eight-month-old daughter in Maharashtra's Virar. The 28-year-old woman, identified as Prachi Kalpesh Patil, suffered severe head trauma after her father-in-law allegedly pushed her onto the floor, following which accused Ganpat Patil (60) was arrested, the official added. “Prachi, a resident of Naringi village near the Ekvira Temple in Virar West, was facing harassment from her father-in-law. When Prachi stepped forward to take the infant into her arms, accused Ganpat Patil refused to hand the child over. It led to an argument, during which he pushed Prachi, who hit her head on the tiled floor,” the official added.
