Qatar’s Ministry of Labour has launched the National Referral System to support the country’s fight against human trafficking. The initiative was announced on social media and was developed by the National Committee for Combating Human Trafficking. It provides an official national framework for reporting, referral, protection, assistance, and criminal prosecution in trafficking cases. The National Referral System is designed to improve prevention, help identify victims more quickly, and make support services easier to access. It also aims to strengthen cooperation between institutions dealing with human trafficking in Qatar.
