Devon Music Education Hub, led by Devon County Council, said that members of the Devon Youth Jazz Orchestra (DYJO), Devon Youth Wind Orchestra (DYWO), Devon Youth Choir, and the Devon Youth Inspire Ensemble have performed in France and Belgium, serving as cultural ambassadors for the county. In northern France, the Devon Youth Choir and Inspire Ensemble performed three concerts in the Saint-Malo region as part of a successful tour of Brittany. Lewis Gibbs, hub lead for Devon Music Education Hub, said: "These tours represent so much more than performances. "Their commitment, care and professionalism ensure that young musicians from Devon can enjoy world-class experiences and continue to thrive both musically and personally." Devon Music Education Hub continues to promote high-quality musical opportunities beyond the classroom, helping young people in the county develop their skills and broaden their horizons.
