At the Remembrance Sunday service outside Sidmouth Parish Church last year, I was holding a wreath and waiting for the ceremony to begin. "You should come along to the veterans' breakfast club," I was told. A few weeks ago, on the first Saturday of July, I joined Sidmouth's Armed Forces & Veterans Breakfast Club. The breakfast takes place on the first Saturday of each month at the Balfour Arms, Sidmouth.
