This is why it is called Ottery St Mary’s Cultural Triangle, which I highly recommend visiting and learning more about. This project aimed to turn that little-known area into Ottery St Mary’s Cultural Triangle. The cultural triangle in our beautiful conservation area comprises St Mary’s Church, the Queen Victoria Monument, the new Library, including Poets' Corner with a bench and an interpretation table, and the new Heritage Museum. The Heritage Museum, formerly Ottery Victorian Town Hall, celebrates the rich social and cultural history of Ottery and its surrounding area, going back 2000 years. In summary, Ottery St Mary’s Cultural Triangle and every corner of the town is a testament to its rich heritage, vibrant community, and unique charm.
