School community raises almost £30,000 to transform pupils' learning experiences

Newton Poppleford Primary School PTFA raised £29,556.94 during the academic year, with £25,700 already reinvested into projects and activities designed to enhance pupils' education and experiences.

Georgia Trengove, chair of Newton Poppleford Primary School PTFA, said: "Behind these figures are hundreds of volunteer hours from our dedicated committee, parents, staff and supporters, all working together to make a real difference for the children of Newton Poppleford Primary School.
"We feel this is a wonderful example of what can be achieved when a community comes together to support its local school."
