Homicide unit investigating Calgary death, two people in custody

Calgary Police’s homicide unit is investigating the fatal stabbing of a man in the city’s southwest, and two people are in custody in connection with the case.
Police say at approximately 10:50 p.m. Wednesday they were called to reports of a disturbance in the 1400 block of 38 Street SW.
He was transported to hospital where he unfortunately succumbed to his injuries,” a CPS news release states.
CPS say they have two people in custody and they believe the victim and suspects were known to each other.
Investigators are speaking with witnesses and they want anyone with information about the incident to contact them by calling 403-266-1234.
