Police officers have carried out a targeted road safety operation along the A442 following growing concerns from local residents regarding motorcycle noise and excessive speeds near Alveley, Shatterford, and the popular Pool Hall Fisheries cafe.
Residents voiced frustration over excessive engine revving and anti-social vehicle behaviour along the stretch of road.

Motorcyclist hospitalised following collisionLater the same evening, at approximately 8:30pm, emergency services were called to a single-vehicle road traffic collision on the A442 near Shatterford involving a motorcycle.
Police have extended their thanks to both local residents and the motorcycling community for their cooperation as efforts continue to keep the area’s roads safe for all users.
