The Duke of Wellington in Lostock will host Welly Fest on Saturday, August 8, promising a full day of entertainment starting at 2 pm. Sophie McGrath, landlady of The Duke of Wellington, said: "Welly Fest is everything I love about our pub. "It's about bringing people together, supporting local businesses, showcasing amazing local talent and creating a day that the whole community can enjoy. "If Welly Fest leaves people with a smile on their face and reminds them what a brilliant community we have, then that's a success in my eyes." All funds raised from Welly Fest will go towards supporting local community projects.
