Reform UK’s Sian Astley visited the proposed development site behind Windy Hill, off Everbrom Road, during a community gathering on Saturday to hear concerns about building on local green space. Ms Astley spent time speaking with residents, listening to their concerns and showing her support for the campaign. Kelly McNulty of the Windy Hill Residents' Campaign said: "One of the key messages from Saturday was that this isn’t just an issue affecting Windy Hill. The proposed development site is close to the area where Peel Land are planning to build nearly 1500 new homes and also a Ryder Cup-ready golf course. Ms Astley, Reform UK’s Greater Manchester mayoral candidate, was joined by locals and other Reform councillors during her visit to the site.
