WWE Hall of Famer Jesse Ventura has reportedly received an invitation to attend WWE SummerSlam, with a note on a possible role for him. WWE SummerSlam takes place in Minneapolis, Minnesota which is Ventura’s home state. The site reports that there have been discussions about using Jesse Ventura on TV, most likely in a pre-show role. If he does, this would be his first appearance on a WWE show in Minnesota since WWE SummerSlam 1999 when he served as a guest referee for the WWF Championship match between Mick Foley, The Rock, and Steve Austin. WWE SummerSlam takes place on August 1st and 2nd from US Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
