Browns Head Coach, ESPN on Watson, QB Battle
['Gavin Oliver']
The Clemson Insider
Former Clemson star Deshaun Watson is entering the final year of his deal in 2026 and is competing with second-year pro Shedeur Sanders for the Cleveland Browns’ starting quarterback job.
Monken told the media that Watson and Sanders will alternate first-team reps at the start of camp.
“I don’t have any preconceived notions of how they’ve played in the past or how they’re going to play.
In 19 total games for the Browns, Watson has completed 61.2 percent of his passes for 3,365 yards and 19 touchdowns with 12 interceptions.
“The Browns have to pay Watson that $46 million this season no matter what,” Graziano wrote.
