THE FILMING locations of popular series Outlander have been revealed for the first time as part of a tourism drive by VisitScotland. A guide has been published by VisitScotland in association with Sony Pictures Television to celebrate the final season of the popular US show. The Scotland: The Home of Outlander campaign reveals 48 locations across Scotland where the fantasy romance series was filmed. Highlanders from The Clanranald Trust for Scotland at Duncarron Medieval Village for the launch of the new Scotland: The Home of Outlander locations guide. The digital campaign features information on Scottish history such as clans, ancestry, Gaelic, tartan and textiles.
