Police arrested a 30-year-old man in late July on attempted kidnapping charges after he allegedly tried to grab a child at a gas station in Georgia. Tucker allegedly approached the woman, who has not been identified, while she was pumping gas at the Shell gas station in Marietta, Georgia. Video of the incident obtained by WSB-TV shows a child exit the vehicle when the suspect attempts to grab him. The suspect also appears to open the back door of the vehicle, where a second child was seated, according to the same video. Charles McPhilamy, a public information officer at the Marietta Police Department, praised the mom for her quick thinking, according to WSB-TV.
