Minister Patrick O’Donovan approves more than €39,500 in funding to support the movement and exhibition of national collections across Ireland. The Irish Government has approved funding of more than €39,500 under the Mobility of Collections Scheme 2026 to improve public access to items held in the National Collections and support cultural exhibitions across the country. By supporting these costs, the scheme encourages greater collaboration between national cultural institutions and local venues. The Mobility of Collections Scheme forms part of wider government efforts to expand opportunities for people across the country to engage with national cultural resources. Through regional exhibitions and partnerships, national collections can reach new audiences and support cultural engagement throughout Ireland.
