Revolut is expanding its investment services in the Czech Republic, giving retail customers access to funds focused on private equity, private credit and infrastructure. The move gives Czech retail investors access to parts of the private markets that have traditionally been aimed largely at institutional investors. Private market assets remain difficult to sell quickly, and investors should expect to hold their money for the long term. Revolut already offers Czech customers access to a range of traditional investments, including US and European stocks, ETFs, bonds and commodities. The addition of private market funds expands the investment options available through the same app.
