Oswego County Continues Statewide STOP-DWI Efforts During August

OSWEGO COUNTY – New York State STOP-DWI’s August “100 Days of Summer” campaign continues from July.
Police agencies and STOP-DWI coordinators provide additional law enforcement patrols to raise awareness about the dangers of impaired driving.
August “100 Days of Summer” dates also include:Thursday, Aug. 6 through Sunday, Aug. 9Thursday, Aug. 13 through Sunday, Aug. 16“There are still a lot of fun things to do before summer is over,” said Oswego County STOP-DWI Coordinator David Hall.
“Everyone can help make a difference by having a sober plan,” he said.
These campaigns also target the end of summer and Labor Day; Halloween; Thanksgiving; the December holiday season; Super Bowl weekend; St. Patrick’s Day; 420 Drug Day; Memorial Day; and July 4th.
