Erwin man, two juveniles charged after Johnson City armed robbery

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...A 19-year-old Erwin man and two juveniles were charged early Thursday after an armed robbery at a business in downtown Johnson City.
According to the Johnson City Police Department, officers responded at approximately 2 a.m. July 30 to a reported armed robbery at a business in the 100 block of South Broadway Street.
Investigators recovered the stolen merchandise as well as clothing the suspects allegedly wore during the robbery.
Following interviews with detectives, Matthew George, 19, of Erwin, and two juveniles were each charged with aggravated robbery, theft of property under $1,000, underage possession of alcohol and underage possession of tobacco.
George was also charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
