A man from Peterhead has been detained in Croatia after being stopped on arrival in the country by border police. They said: “We are supporting a British national who has been detained in Croatia and are in contact with the local authorities.” Peterhead man previously arrested in SpainMr Campbell was arrested in Tenerife in September 2024 in connection with a public health charge. After his detention, the Provincial Court of Tenerife issued a search warrant for him after he failed to attend a hearing. “He may have been arrested in Croatia over this search warrant.”
