Thousands of holidaymakers have been forced to cancel trips and seek refunds after the Cairngorms wildfire devastated tourism businesses in Glenmore.
Seventeen businesses remain closed and community leaders say more than 200 jobs are at risk.
Businesses desperate for road to reopenNethy Bridge and Vicinity Community Council chairman Sandy McCook said reopening the Glenmore corridor was now the priority.
Mr McCook said businesses in Glenmore had been hit much harder than those elsewhere in Badenoch and Strathspey.
Businesses are open and they still need visitors.”
