Microsoft’s Xbox app is now available on TVs from 2024-2026 running VIDAA OS, the software platform powering smart TVs from Hisense, Toshiba, Loewe, Schneider, Akai, and other manufacturers. The upcoming availability of the Xbox app on Hisense TVs and other models running VIDAA OS was announced back at CES in January. The beta test is currently only available on consoles, though it will likely expand to the Xbox app on smart TVs at some point. Microsoft’s Xbox is currently available on smart TVs from Samsung and LG, and it’s also accessible on Fire TV devices. At CES in January, TCL also announced that the Xbox app was coming to its latest smart TVs running the Google TV platform.
