The Rockland County Youth Bureau is now accepting applications from not-for-profits, community-based organizations, and municipal agencies applying for 2027 Youth Sports funding for the term October 1, 2026 – September 30, 2027. Applicants must provide sports or physical fitness activities to Rockland County youth up to age 18. Sports opportunity funding awards are guided by the following principles:• Sports-based youth development programs are out-of-school-time programs that use a particular sport to facilitate learning and life skill development in youth. • Sports are effective tools in positive youth development and family engagement. The Rockland County Youth Bureau is committed to its continued advocacy on behalf of the children, youth, and families of Rockland County and to support agencies that provide invaluable services to our residents.
