The County of Rockland has launched an Emergency Medical Services (EMS) Sustainability Task Force that will create a new countywide EMS Plan, in response to a new mandate by New York State.
There are roughly 86,000 EMS calls annually within Rockland County.
To effectively create a plan that ensures residents continue to receive high‑quality, reliable, and responsive EMS care, the task force will be conducting a comprehensive review of Rockland’s existing emergency medical services while collaborating and exchanging best practices with stakeholders.
