Franklin County’s boys golf team played in two tournaments last weekend. The Flyers improved by one stroke from their first tournament of the season Friday, posting a 333 at the East Carter Invitational at Hidden Cove Golf Course. FCHS ended the week Saturday with a season-best showing at the Eagle Trace Invitational in Morehead. During the team’s inter-squad scramble Thursday at Hidden Cove Golf Course, Young had a hole-in-one on the par-3 fourth hole.
