Then comes Google TV & Android TV, which collectively make up 14% of US streaming OS marketshare. Google TV is, after all, the top choice of TCL which is an increasingly massive player in the global TV market and the US, while Hisense and others also use Google TV. For every TV out there with Roku or Fire TV, there’s probably a Google TV on display right there near it. The difference might be accounted for with this latest report also including TV streaming players as opposed to just smart TV sets.
