While announcing its first-ever loss in its mobile division, Samsung this week teased its Android XR glasses while also confirming the upcoming launches of Galaxy Tab S12 and Galaxy S26 FE later this year. Samsung, the world’s largest smartphone maker, ran into its first-ever loss for its mobile division in Q2 2026. That started with a mention of the upcoming Galaxy S26 FE, a device Samsung hopes will “drive volume market share growth” alongside the rest of the Galaxy S26 series. Finally, Samsung also confirms that its Galaxy Tab S12 series is incoming in the second half of 2026. Samsung has fallen into an 18-month release cycle with tablets and, with Tab S11 having debuted in September 2025, it was reasonable to assume Tab S12 wouldn’t debut until early 2027.
