Capcom Corporate Officer Yoshikazu Shimacuhi has reportedly stated that a sequel to Pragmata is very likely following the success of the original agame, which has sold 2.5 million units since its launch in April 2026. “Shimauchi said the likelihood of a sequel is high, raising the prospect that Capcom could develop the title into another pillar franchise and a source of longer-term revenue,” the report reads. It’s important at this point to remember that Capcom has not announced a sequel to Pragmata yet, but it’s clear the first game has been a big success which does bode well for a follow-up. Pragmata is now available for PS5, PC, Nintendo Switch 2, and Xbox Series X/S. [Source – Bloomberg]
