Spider-Man: Brand New Day star Tom Holland has revealed how the Marvel’s Spider-Man games influenced the creates of the latest movie in the superhero franchise, specifically mentioning the finishing moves that the web-slinger performs. Brand New Day is the fourth solo Spider-Man film that Holland portrays Peter Parker/Spider-Man, having also appeared in Captain America: Civil War, Avengers: Infinity War, and Avengers: Endgame. For me, a lot of those finishing moves, a lot of our stuff was influenced by that stuff. Holland isn’t the only one to reveal that Insomniac Games’ Spider-Man titles have been an influence on the wall-crawler’s big scree antics. Spider-Man: Brand New Day is in cinemas now, while Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 is the latest game in the franchise from Insomniac Games and came out for PS5 in October 2023.
