Since New Hampshire has launched its statewide “bell-to-bell” cellphone ban for schools , which went into effect at the beginning of the past academic year, teachers are reporting positive changes in their students.
According to the report, approximately 80% of teachers reported that the bell-to-bell ban was effective at reducing classroom distractions.
This point is true especially for many current high school students who spent much of their middle school years learning through screens during the COVID-19 pandemic.
According to the report, nearly half of teachers and administrators responding to the survey said that students developed better social skills and had better relationships with their peers since the bell-to-bell mandate was implemented.
"When we think about fewer distractions, more focus in the classroom, better learning, less discipline and incidents, I mean, it's all been terrific," said New Hampshire Gov.
