ISLAMABAD: The Federal Ministry of Health has transferred the management of Islamabad Infection Disease Hospital and the Regional Blood Center to Indus Hospital. Speaking at a ceremony in Islamabad, Federal Minister of Health Mustafa Kamal described the event as a significant and historic day for the healthcare sector. He announced that two agreements had been signed between the Indus Health Network and the Ministry of Health. Under these agreements, the Islamabad Infection Disease Hospital and the Regional Blood Center have been handed over to Indus Hospital, with the government approving the transfer. Mustafa Kamal mentioned that the Infection Disease Hospital was constructed with Chinese collaboration, while the Regional Blood Center was established with modern facilities through German assistance.
