MULTAN: In a significant crackdown, the Motorway Police intercepted a substantial shipment of weapons and ammunition on the M-5 motorway, authorities confirmed on Thursday. According to police officials, two suspects were apprehended near Rohri while attempting to transport the arms from Peshawar to interior Sindh. The suspects reportedly attempted to evade law enforcement by trying to break through three police check posts along the route. Their efforts were thwarted, and the police managed to recover a large cache of arms. This interception marks a major success in efforts to curb illegal arms trafficking within the region, highlighting the ongoing vigilance of law enforcement agencies on the M-5 motorway.
