Prosecutors Outline Possible Motive In Charlie Kirk Murder Case
['Porter Huntsman']
Mid-Utah Radio
(Provo, UT) — Prosecutors say they have identified a possible motive in the murder case of Charlie Kirk.
In a new court filing, prosecutors allege Tyler Robinson targeted Kirk because of disagreements with the political movement he represented, including issues involving gay and transgender rights.
According to The Salt Lake Tribune, the filing is part of prosecutors’ effort to show there is enough evidence for the case to proceed to trial.
Defense attorneys are expected to file their response in the coming weeks.
