Police from the 100th Precinct in Rockaway Beach are looking for two young shoplifters who beat up two store employees who caught them red-handed and confronted them.
Police say the brawl broke out on the afternoon of Wednesday, July 8, at the Key Food supermarket at 87-15 Rockaway Beach Blvd.
after a 46-year-old male store employee and his 42-year-old male co-worker saw the suspects leaving the store just before 6 p.m.
The NYPD released surveillance images of the suspects on July 29 and described them as having dark complexions and dreadlocks.
One had a goatee and a medium build and wore a light blue T-shirt and dark pants, while his accomplice had a thin build and wore a blue T-shirt, black shorts, black sneakers and a light blue hair bonnet.
