The sports and entertainment sensation Savannah Bananas are among those lined up for musical performances during Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day on Sunday, Aug. 23, at Arthur Ashe Stadium.
Actress and creator Txunamy will be co-hosting the event, which runs through 3:30 p.m. DJ Sophia Rocks will be providing musical entertainment at Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day throughout the afternoon.
Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day, which is the largest annual grassroots tennis event and a premier celebration of the legacy of the late legendary tennis player Arthur Ashe, represents the beginning of US Open Fan Week, which runs through Saturday, Aug. 29.
Honoring Arthur Ashe’s legacy of humanitarianism, leadership and academic excellence, Arthur Ashe Kids’ Day seeks to inspire the next generation of tennis players.
